When does 007 First Light come out?
007 First Light launches worldwide on Wednesday, May 27, 2026 for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Players who pre-order a digital edition get 24-hour early access starting May 26, 2026, effectively making it a two-day launch window. The Nintendo Switch 2 version follows later, in Q3 2026.
The date wasn't always May. IO Interactive originally targeted March 27, 2026, but on December 23, 2025 the studio pushed the launch back two months "to give the game the final polish it deserves." May 27 has held firm since.

Is there a trilogy planned?
Yes. IO Interactive CEO Hakan Abrak has confirmed the studio intends to build a trilogy of Bond games, letting players "grow with" this younger 007 across multiple titles — much like the studio's Hitman: World of Assassination approach. First Light is chapter one.
